The way it all started is I was reading thousands of pages in our counseling training at JFKU when I inadvertently gained 20 pounds. A friend and I went to the Alameda County Fair, we saw what looked like a giant antique scale and I climbed on. Really, I thought that scale was broken because the scale at home said I weighed a lot less. It wasn't, however, the scale at the County Fair which was broken.
I resolved myself to figure out how to lose that weight. So many diet books recommend this and that, expect you to read 300 pages, I did not expect to have time to read them all.
Since I had been studying food as medicine since the 1980's, I had a decent knowledge about food and the effects on the body. In the beginning of my attempts to lose weight, I kept hitting that three pound loss and soon return back to square one. Starting to experiment with what I was eating, I found a pattern to how I was not losing weight even when I was not eating anything that looked suspicious.
Eventually, my experiments paid off. I lost the weight and I was eating better than ever. I started testing this on several people each who lost weight so successfully. The first woman lost 32 pounds in four months and the man lost 17 pounds in 21 days, but I was unable to follow them, coaching them while I was in a full time program at school.
Weight loss is really much easier when you know what you are doing. This eating style requires no counting calories, no measuring, and you can continue to eat to self-soothe as long as you need to, and there is no starving, no extreme exercise routines, and no diet pills, and best of all you start to feel and look great.
Obviously, there are no guarantees about all our genetic and environmental inputs into our lives. That said, it is my personal belief that this is the eating style which is preventative for everything from obesity, heart disease, stroke, to glaucoma and cancer. This can mean a happier, healthier longer life.
Now I am making my eating style available to you. The people who have worked with this eating style report feeling happier, lighter and feeling healthier while losing weight. This may be one of the fastest, healthiest, ways to lose weight without diet pills and extreme exercise routines.
